Reviews for KNIFE, BOWIE KNIFE (Electronics) First, I must admit I've always favored Boker knives. My grandfather carried a Boker until the day he died. So, after I saw this knife...I wanted it.
It is a basic Bowie style and truly is a "looker" with it's brass "S" formed hilt and large blade. The sheath may rate better than the knife, it's good, high-quality and used to be made in England. The knife is a Solingen product, in distinction to a number of Bokers which at the moment are made in China, and I do not buy junk from China.
I gave it 4 superstars and here's why it didn't get five: the hilt was once rather bent, the wood grip shows some sanding marks, no longer what I anticipated from a $250. knife.
I'll by no implys use this knife. It's a wall hanger to be admired and to remind me of my grandfather, the person who began my hobby of knife accumulating.
PS I did restore the bent hilt and sanded the wood handle smooth, so now it gets a four.5 score.
